When we first heard last month that Katy Perry would be THE official face behind British hair care company ghd's new ad campaign as their global brand ambassador, we were DYING of curiosity to see what the style icon would bust out. We weren't disappointed. The first images surrounding the limited-edition collection of products all follow a theme ranging from "New Wave" to "Boho Chic" and boast the hyper-stylized gloriousness that we'd expect from the spectacularly talented David LaChapelle, who has photographed everyone from Elizabeth Taylor to Britney Spears in his storied career. And we're definitely feeling Katy's range in all of these shots, but, man, there's SOMETHING magnetic and slightly sad about her Golden Era Hollywood setup that's just unbelievably captivating.
