Justin Timberlake To Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Justin Timberlake's track record on "Saturday Night Live" is pretty stellar. The Beyoncé "Single Ladies" skit. Emmy-winning "D--- in a Box." Another Emmy for his guest stint on the show in 2009, not to mention "Motherlover," "The Barry Gibb Talk Show" and the series of "Give It on Up" skits.

And while he's never officially joined the cast of the show, JT has made it clear that he's right at home on the long-running sketch comedy program. That's why Tuesday's news that JT might be making his first visit to "SNL" as host in two years spread like wildfire. The news broke in a tweet on the official "SNL" feed, in response to a fan comment bemoaning the upcoming gap in new shows before the season wraps up.
"I didn't realize that @ isn't back until May 7th!!! What am I going to do!? Is Tina Fey the season finale!?," the exasperated fan wrote. Fey is slated to host the show on May 7, but it seems that JT might be up to bat following the "30 Rock" star.
"Nope! We have Timberlake after that!" was the response tweet from the show's official feed. While Timberlake hasn't hosted the show since May 9, 2009, he dropped in during this season's premiere in September, popping up in the opening monologue by host Amy Poehler and in the "Actor II Actor" sketch.
It's unclear whether the upcoming appearance will be the season 36 finale. A spokesperson for the show could not be reached at press time to confirm the appearance or provide details on the musical guest for the episode.
