The siblings are taking a break from band The Jonas Brothers which they formed with older brother Kevin to focus on solo projects and while Joe gets ready for the release of his new album - which reportedly features a collaboration with Chris Brown - Nick has already had a sneak preview and promises fans they are in for a treat.
He told MTV News: "Joe's record's really coming together nicely. It's been kind of a process for him to create it, and he's taking his time, which I think is important. But it's really a quality record. I listened to it in the car, and I was just loving it."
Joe has promised the record will sound different from other Jonas Brothers albums and Nick admitted it has "many different sounds".
He said: "There's so many different sounds, and yet it's still consistent because it was produced by Danja and Rob Knox (Britney Spears, T.I.), who have just done some amazing work. And I'm excited for him. I think he'll have a great year, and [I'm] looking forward to people hearing the music."
