David Beckham was involved in a car accident on Friday (06.05.11).
The soccer ace was driving near Torrence in California when he ran into the back of a stationary vehicle with his Cadillac SUV, although neither he nor his 12-year-old son Brooklyn ' who was in the car with him ' were injured in the collision.

However, the driver of the car complained of minor neck pain as a result of the incident and was taken to a local hospital.
A California Highway Patrol spokesperson stated: "This collision occurred when his [David's] black Cadillac collided with the rear of a disabled gold Mitsubishi which was stalled in the carpool lane due to mechanical problems.
"The driver of the vehicle had a complaint of a pain and was taken to hospital. David Beckham was not cited or arrested."
The incident happened when David was heading for soccer training at the Home Depot Centre.
However his wife Victoria ' who is currently pregnant with the couple's fourth child ' seemed to not be upset by the incident and enjoyed a baby shower before watching his team Los Angeles Galaxy play against the New York Red Bulls yesterday (07.05.11).
She tweeted: "I have had a lovely day today with friends and family.Can't wait for the game tonight!!! X vb (sic)"
