Beyonce and Bruno - the stars come out to play on a new Jay-Z and Kanye tune.
The long-anticipated Watch The Throne album, a landmark collaboration between Jay-Z and Kanye West, has been in the works for a little too long and the lead track 'H.A.M.' was fairly underwhelming.
The long-anticipated Watch The Throne album, a landmark collaboration between Jay-Z and Kanye West, has been in the works for a little too long and the lead track 'H.A.M.' was fairly underwhelming.
But rumours abound that the first true single from the album will be called 'Lift Off' and will feature guest spots from Mrs. Jay-Z and hitmaker Bruno Mars.
It was produced by Jeff Bhasker, or as Bhasker himself tweeted 'Lift Off was produced by Kanye Bhasker and Jeffrey West'.
And the album is almost done, according to producer/engineer Young Guru who last week told Vibe 'Right now, I'm really trying to get Jay and Kanye to hurry up and finish this Watch The Throne album because the world needs to hear it. It just needs little tweaks and things like that. But the core of the album is finished.'
But another engineer Mike Dean said that it might need another mix. In a recent video interview with Pensado's Place two weeks ago, Dean said that they had somebody try to mix it but it didn't work out.
Watch The Throne's release date was originally set for late last year, then January, then March. We'll keep you in the loop.
